His books have been published in over thirty-seven languages around the world. He has received numerous awards and honors for his writing, including the National Endowment for the Arts Award for Literature through Schools and the Christopher Award
Caulton was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and currently resides in Southern California with his wife, Sheila.
